Award Winning Gozney Expands HQ to New Space in the Iconic Bobby’s Bournemouth.
The award-winning pizza oven business, Gozney, has made the move from its previous headquarters in Christchurch into a much larger space in Bobby’s Bournemouth to accommodate its ever-growing team.
Up to 50 members of the Gozney UK team moved into their new home this November following exponential growth over the last few years with offices open across the UK, US and China and ambitions to expand to Australia and Germany.
Here, Tom Gozney, Founder of Gozney, explains the latest move for the company:
‘Our UK team is based all over the country but Gozney offices were first opened in Dorset and many of our valued team call Dorset home, so we’re keeping it local.
‘We’re so proud to have secured this spot in the centre of Bournemouth and we have always been big fans of the history of the Bobby’s building. The Bobby’s building has much synergy to our own brand story, taking an old, authentic building steeped in history and respectfully re-inventing it for the current day.
‘We’ll be using Bobby’s primarily as an office space. We’re most excited about being part of the regeneration and re-invigoration of a post-covid Bournemouth City Centre and we’re hoping the mix of the public downstairs, and all the diversity Bournemouth has to offer will serve to inspire and invigorate our team.
‘Bobby’s has trusted us with the design of our own floor space which respects the original features of the building as well as providing a cutting edge, design led space for our team. We’re hoping to use this design opportunity to reignite our sense of community within the office after all the remote working that happened during covid. We’ve chosen an open floor layout to encourage collaborative working equipped with break out spaces, a pool table, foosball table, an in-house TV studio ready to shoot our latest Gozney content with international chefs flying in from across the globe and lots more. We’re so excited for the team to see it!’
Gozney will be welcoming friends and family to the opening of its new office space along with its Bobby’s neighbours to celebrate together and share a pizza or two. ‘Gozney’s culture is all about connection and community whilst sharing food, there’s no better way to bond than getting stuck in and cooking good food together.
‘As the business continues to grow, we will continue to innovate at Gozney with new, exciting products coming from our brand. There will be more international growth, but we will always be proud to originate from and be a Bournemouth based brand.’
